What leaves our floor and reaches your line
We supply self-adhesive label face stocks and thermal rolls for businesses that need labels to print cleanly, stick properly and pass through production without fuss. That includes paper face stocks for general packaging, glossy and matt finishes for retail presentation, and film based label stocks where moisture, rubbing or handling is part of the job. For colder stores, coastal dispatch points and products that may sit in humid conditions, adhesive choice matters just as much as the face stock.
Our roll work covers direct thermal rolls and thermal transfer rolls. Direct thermal suits short life labels, courier labels, weighing slips and other uses where a ribbon is not needed. Thermal transfer rolls are used with a ribbon and are better where print needs to last longer, resist scuffing or hold up to movement, storage and wider temperature changes. We also supply liner options and slit widths to suit common converting and packing setups.
- Self-adhesive label face stocks in paper and film formats
- Permanent, removable and freezer style adhesive options
- Glassine and other liner choices for smooth feed and unwind
- Direct thermal and thermal transfer rolls for varied print life needs
- Roll lengths, widths and winding direction set to your printer or applicator
Every order is checked against the way it will be used, not just the way it looks on paper. A label for a warehouse shelf, a retail shelf edge and a sealed pouch may all need a different surface, adhesive and unwind direction, and that is where the detail pays off.
The jobs our labels are built around
Our customers use label stock and rolls for packaging, sealing, coding, dispatch, stock control and shelf marking. Some need a label that grips well on cartons, some need clean removal from containers, and others need a stock that survives courier handling, chill rooms or the odd bit of moisture on the packing bench. We work with businesses that need reliable supply without overcomplicating the order.
From Westmead, Pinetown we supply clients in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria and Pietermaritzburg, with orders also going into Hammarsdale and other industrial areas. The work ranges from small production runs to recurring replenishment for multi site operations. In a city branch or a factory floor, downtime costs money and a roll that feeds badly can slow the whole line.
- Retail pricing and shelf labelling
- Logistics and courier dispatch labels
- Manufacturing batch, code and identification labels
- Packaging seals and carton closures
- Warehouse location and stock control labels
We also support labels for manual application and machine use. That means the roll size, core size and winding direction are matched to how the job is done, whether it is a hand applicator, a benchtop printer or a higher speed print and apply setup.
How we match the stock to the printer
Good label work starts with the right fit between stock, adhesive, liner and printer. A label can be technically correct and still cause trouble if the core size is wrong, the roll is wound the wrong way or the liner does not pull cleanly through the machine. We check these details before slitting or rewinding so the roll arrives ready for use.
We handle printer fit checks for common thermal systems, including the roll width, outer diameter, core size and ribbon requirements where thermal transfer printing is used. Direct thermal media is chosen when speed and simplicity are more useful than long term durability. Thermal transfer media is chosen when the print must hold up better under handling, light exposure or storage. If the label is going onto a rough carton, a cold surface or a glossy packet, adhesive matching becomes part of the job too.
- Custom slitting for the width your line can take
- Rewinding for the unwind direction your printer expects
- Core sizing to suit common 25 mm, 40 mm and 76 mm cores where needed
- Roll length planning to reduce changeovers and waste
- Sample rolls for checks before a larger order is run
That way the labels do not just print, they run properly.
